The dark humor often appears in the titles, while melancholy lingers as an undertone in the imagery. I am self-taught and driven by a deep curiosity to constantly learn new techniques. In my creative work, the process itself is often my greatest driving force – I strive to renew myself, push boundaries, mix materials, and explore new forms of expression. My work moves in cycles, shifting between painting, three-dimensional felting, printmaking, mixed media, photography, digital art, and AI. Through my work with social media, I continuously encounter new digital forms of expression, which also influence my art. I often work in Procreate and DALL-E 3, MidJourney etc and in many of my pieces, the hare – my alter ego – reappears. For me, the hare symbolizes humor, vulnerability, and a defiant longing for freedom. It follows its own path, refuses to be tamed, and often appears when least expected – much like the ideas that spark my creative process.
